my p36g wrecks alot of planes 9 of them was wrecking japanese, russian and spits
its vulnerable but hey,my fav plane in many ways-just shoot m move.
the p36a and c have less firepower but fly decent
i had to adjust my ratios-in test flight to maximise turns
i use up''.to turn and lead with =a-d..im looping turn fighting as the p36 has amazing lift....in a tight spot,,fly like a hawk hover n turn,re-energize the speed,by moving,,when not in combat-its vulnerable,,,,

F2a-3 buffalo, F4f wildcats, p-39s all arent too shabby at turning. But it requires flap control, and you wont beat dedicated turnfighters. From an arcade standpoint anyway.
As a vast overall state, US planes are better in a turn than the Germans for at least the first turn and some Soviets depending on the energy state and pilots and lose out to the British and Japanese with some exceptions. It all ready depends on a multitude of factors (Like speed, fuel, altitude, situational awarness, whether they have extra armament) on whether you'll be better in a turn than your opponent so always be alert and aware of your state vs your opponent states'.
