How does the community generally feel about the map pool of ground RB?

I have about 600+ hours of grinding Top Tier USA, I have maxed out the ground tree, most of the helis (up to ah1z and ah6m) and got the f16A and F14b in air. (I hate playing air rb in top tier.)

But I come from playing Arma 3 with close to 6k hours in the game total, and if any of you readers are familiar arma 3s maps are massive, sometimes 20 sq kms or even bigger.

I personally feel like the maps of war thunder ground RB are entirely way too small, when we have artillery tanks and SPAA that can kill 15km away (further than an air spawn to the AO btw). I just wish they would take some time to integrate some longer games/ modes with larger maps and I feel like this would help with every problem I have read from you guys (being spawn camped after 1 minute of a game, being insta killed by pansir/ spaa, etc etc etc.)

What do you guys think about the current state of Top Tier ground rb?

I hate the majority of the maps because of how poorly designed they are for a competitive PvP game with objectives.

They don't look bad (mostly) and they are cool because the devs use parts of big maps for smaller combat areas, but they just aren't balanced well.
Hey there
I am playing since arma2 and battlefield2 (project reality fan too)
Playing squad and arma3 too i already have the things you mentioned in 2 major nations.
Here we have 20 mins matches max
So for better quality people need faster paced matches for me sometimes i play top tier cause its faster in pace and play low tier for fun.
Current maps are doing ok just like why arma3 has those big maps and squad has smaller maps.
They are different.
So for you to enjoy better i did play with some guys that we ran squad with we went for sim ground battles while voice chatting and we all loved it so if you want that thing to happen you gonna need some ppl imo game itself is in good a place.
