You mean game bug or bug as a fly?
Like yes, it's got some impressive mechanics, like the temperature of a map affecting your shells velocity or your engine temperature. But a lot of the basic mechanics are very buggy/janky. And a lot of older planes/jets are outdated in their flight models. Like the super mystere taking 3-4 seconds to even move on the runway when afterburner is clearly on. or some of the early 1950s jets having abysmal acceleration.
There's just so many things that if you attempt to immerse yourself, it will break it.
and things just go downhill even more for ground RB. everything is broken there from the balancing to the penetration mechanics and damage models.
The cause of all this? a 20+ year old game engine and 20+years of spaghetti coding.
It will never be fixed, and gaijin doesn't even seem interested in trying. Look how many YEARS it took them to fix the RP loss bug. Though I think that was because of incompetent and biased forum moderators.
In summery, the game is very janky, and unbalanced. But we will still play it because there's no competition out there (especially since WoT is on it's death bed). I hope one day some game dev will make a up to date and FUN pvp military fighting sim. But untill then we're stuck with this hunk of junk.
I would like to give credit where credit is due, what the game devs (the programmers, artists, sound designers) have created is impressive. but it's the game leads that are the screwy ones. Their lust for money is going to be the downfall of WT, just like WoT. It's just a matter of time.
is it more realistic than world of tanks? at least when i miss i know it was my own aim and not rng saying no.
Possibly people who have never served in the military?
Maybe I don't have a say in this but when I see nerds in this game acting all mighty that they "know military stuff" I simply ask them also "Have you been in the military?" , "Have you operated this vehicle irl?" and surprise surprise, most go quiet.
Other than that, I would start leaning on the "No Military" experience argument.
This also happens with Bombers, btw! I had quite a few times where i dropped them and my plane started to shake and i got damage from out of no where, tho i did not had Nvidia on at that time :/
