I want to hide replay control for recording.
I want the HUD in my replays to be the same as when I was actually playing.
Alt+Z isn't what I'm looking for.
Thank you !

No sorry, what is sad about it? If you record the battle you don't need the replay. But then you do need a video editor. Replays are a format you can only view in War Thunder. Recorded battles can be viewed and format changed to MP4. (or other) but most media players can view the recorded replay outside of War Thunder.
If you wish to make say a Youtube video from a replay you need to record the replay with an outside editor. So to skip the step of recording a replay just record the battle to start with. You then get the player view from the battle.
with NVDIA it is F9 to start/stop recording

I don't have an actual recording of the match, only the replay.
So I was planning to record the replay instead.
I was just hoping I could hide the HUD to make it look more like a real in-game recording.
You know, having the replay timeline visible kinda ruins the look — it feels a bit lame.

When you edit the replay crop the top part so it is not visible

Yes you can op. You need to hit the keybind "Hide UI" and you will be good to go.
