It's part of the April Fools.
that is just embarrassing
They would have to do an entire rework of the maps and give buildings interiors, instead of indestructible house shaped rocks as an obstacle to go around...
It really needs to be a lucrative prospect for the company, so we should all start giving the company ideas on how we can give them even more money.... -_-
A.I inf? I'm 70% sure it's what they were testing, Unless they were just showing off WW1 stuff they made, or just trying to drum up hype for aces of thunder... which will probably NOT really be played all that much.
I think the chance for infantry like the WW1 mode is mid to high. there were two main tests for infantry in that mode.
1. when you captured a point your infantry would run forward and sit on that point to defend it and the enemy couldn't decap until said infantry were dead.
2. If you got close to the enemies infantry spawn line they would throw anti tank grenades at you which would kill the tank if it got hit enough.
I think in the future IFVs will get infantry that they can drop off at a cap point to defend it. And the Infantry throwing anti tank grenades could be a spawn protection feature were infantry in your teams spawn will attack enemy tanks if they enter a certain distance of it.
