For those who weren’t here for that glorious time, the D point used to be a dynamic capture point that would spawn part way through the match.
It was usually far out on a flank well away from most of the players, but there were still ai tanks present on maps in those days.
The point did not persist, just gave a bonus when captured and disappeared immediately
So suddenly there would be a mad rush to capture a point out in the middle of a field in amongst an active battle between ai tanks shooting at each other.
