Gaijin should further expand the WW1 tech trees post April fools event

Since the WW1 event vehicles are being kept permanently if you unlock them it looks like there is an opportunity to add further WW1 vehicles in the future to expand upon the lineups. Every nation aside from Israel would get tanks from the era:

France:
- FT-17
- FCM 1A (Premium prototype of the Char 2C)
- Schneider CA
- St. Chamond (Already In-game)
- Mark V*
– Automitrailleuse Peugeot
– Automitrailleuse Renault
- Improved Saint-Chamond (1918)
- Ehrhardt Potkachel (Dutch armored car. Forgot if they are included under France or UK in-game)

USA:

- Mark V (Already In-game)

Been playing the event and WW1 tanks are fine. Expect people to be pulling the A7V in standard 1.0 once the event ends. I know I will.

Been playing and wanting these WW1 vehicles since tanks were added to the game. I'm actually having fun using the St. Chamond, A7V, and Mark IV/V tanks.

CAS will never be fixed and a lot of people thought that Italy, France, and MBTs would be a waste of development time back in the day, but here we are with Sweden, Israel, and some other minor nations that people thought would never exist in the game.

except mbt's are endgame and give u a long time "goal" to work towards while ww1 would be so incredibly slow and boring it would scare people off

Nothing stopping Gaijin from making it an optional bracket. Just start everybody at 1.0 reserve tier and give people the option to research a tier 0.0 - 1.0 if they feel like it.

And MBTs are only a long term goal for those that like modern MBTs. Everything at top tier just feels like copy paste because top tier is just point, click, delete.

I think an optional tier would be good. I know personally I would like it and it’s not like they don’t have models for half the vehicles already. The MBTs aren’t motivating enough for me because it takes so long to get to them and it’s almost a century of tested tank strategy so it’s just more of the same albeit way cooler but WWI tanks are a nice different challenge.

They won't. People have been calling for CAS fixes since tanks were added. It's part of the game at this point and it's going to stay.
