Drone spotting now viable strat?

Don't know when they'll nerf it or if they will, i just had a game with 10 assists from spotting at 10.0 with the drone. Since marking with your drone give you the exact location, you can mark enemies through walls and across the map. Even if your mark is off you can swap to your data-link/drone view instead of your minimap and use that to correctly spot enemies for your team.

I didnt make a crazy amount of SL or RP, but I had a decent team who payed attention and we won with having most of the enemies spotted in close proximity and before they came out of cover.

That match i made 35k SL and 3300 RP

From what I've seen, this can make or break a match, giving your team an insanely huge edge against the other team, the only problem is how many people try to take advantage of this, which could easily ruin matches having a bunch of dudes just sitting back all on their drones, but that says a lot about the game itself, why bother with stressful grinding if you can just sit back and spot enemies for your team, which can ultimately bring you a win, and extra reward bonus'.

Drone scouting has been like this ever since it was first added the only difference is now the new marker makes it slightly easier to do this Although was already pretty easy to do by using squad markers instead

Ive had matches where i have 70 scouts in total if i sit and do that from the start of the match and noone shoots my drone down

Its actually funny if i got 3 other good players together in a squad and i marked everything on the map and they confirm the kill I could get a "pacifist" nuke by just sitting at spawn and marking people through the drone
