Like its literally a joke event, so its not to be taken seriously.
*Heck if you look at the rest of the game that way, in general, and dont take it seriously, because it is a video game. Then its much better, than trying to be the best, and winning all the time. Because then you just burn yourself out.
+1.
But only if infantry gets added as playable units. I don't mind AI-only infantrymen, we already had them in test flights for American, Japanese and British props as working models that can move, take position when bullets start flying nearby or bombs start to explode, and die after receiving a little damage to their hitboxes, so it was possible to have them in ground battles a long time ago.
For the majority of humans, it's unnatural unless in dire situations, and always harmful for the psyche to injure or moreover take a life of someone who resembles us too much (or other mammals, as well as birds and other advanced animals that show signs of having consciousness and ability to feel pain). Vehicle combat which War Thunder is centered around just doesn't work that way, you rarely see actual soldiers/crew members and them being affected by your weapons, mostly aiming to destroy a vehicle (soulless mechanism made of replaceable parts that can be repaired and restored to initial functionality) itself.
But a worse thing is playing as a soldier yourself and experiencing defeat from opponent's weapon, provided you partially, even to small extent, but do impersonate the visual model made of pixels and resembling a real human with yourself; the first and foremost reason I never played online FPS games, to not torture myself with each death and sound indicating feeling pain my char produces, skills issues coming after it on the list.
how would you balance this? something like battlefield or enlisted where many want to play tanks or planes but only 1-2 can play them the other get shovet into infantry?
Kamikaze drone: add to the game ?
While russian cope cage will add a metre of depleted uranium armour to the vehicle
I wonder what we call the added armor to German tanks then :/
Or the cope cages on the Abrams...
"Cope bags" for the sandbags on Shermans....
Remember when they had those soynights dressed in copelate armor in Chudieval Europe? Such incel losers afraid of being beaten or stabbed or pierced with a pike or losing their limb lmao weren't they?
Let me point out that modern AT weaponry usually has tandem warheads and that there usually isn't only one drone aiming at a tank - so yes, pure coping modifications, unlike spaced armor (Schürzen) or sand bags that had an actual effect
Then if its coping for Russian tanks....then its also coping for the opposite with Abrams, that had to add "cope cages", yes?
Either way, still just a dumb phrase. Any extra layer of protection, is still protection...i really dont see the "cope" aspect of it. Anyway.
