That's not even close to what I said.
I'm talking about players leaving the game instantly after losing their one and only vehicle or quitting just because they don't like the map.
Of course everyone can play no matter how advanced they are. The point is about ruining the game experience for the entire team just because things don't go their way.
I don't know how long you have been playing, but I signed in when the game was called World of Planes and played before the game was available to everybody - People tell Gaijin what makes them leave battles for 12 years and they never fixed anything
And nobody is responsible for somebody else's fun on the own expense. Gaijin wants us to be content for the other players, so it's on them to provide an environment that encourages people to stay.
One sided maps, unfair match making and creating frustration to push players into paying will always lead to be people leaving matches.
And yeah, I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ selfish in THIS game since the experience of others doesn't help me progress, fighting a losing battle even can throw you back actually (repair costs).
It's designed that way, Gaijin seems to intend it to be that way and this is the way people play the game
Because leaving immediately after losing your tank, when you only brought one vehicle, means you weren't fully prepared to play in the first place.
If you have multiple tanks in your lineup, losing one doesn't instantly eliminate you, you can keep fighting and help your team win. Staying and contributing increases everyone's chance of victory. But by bringing just one vehicle, you're essentially betting your team's success on a single life, and then leaving others disadvantaged when things don't go your way.
The issue isn't about watching, it's about coming prepared and respecting your team enough to stick around and play seriously
I understand your point, and I agree that Gaijin has a responsibility in creating a fair and motivating environment. But at the end of the day, each player's actions do impact everyone else's experience. You're right: nobody should sacrifice their enjoyment purely for others, but there's a difference between reasonable self-interest and leaving instantly at the slightest inconvenience.
Sure, some maps are frustrating, matchmaking can be tough, and repair costs can hurt progress. But if everyone quit immediately whenever things weren't ideal, matches would fall apart constantly and that's precisely what's happening now. Being part of a team means occasionally pushing through less-than-perfect circumstances, because teamwork matters.
Gaijin needs to improve many aspects, absolutely but players also share a part in creating a healthier gameplay environment. If everyone's constantly abandoning battles, it won't push Gaijin to improve, it'll only degrade the experience further for everyone involved.
I totally get where you're coming from, and unfortunately, you're probably right. As long as profits are good, there's less incentive for Gaijin to change. But still, as players, if we just accept this and keep quitting matches, we're only making it easier for them to ignore real issues. A community that actively encourages fair play and teamwork could push for meaningful changes much more effectively than simply giving up
Upgrade keen vision instead?
Haha true, people have been complaining about tanks from day one, and honestly, it just keeps getting louder.
The newer vehicles with missiles, stabilizers, and spawn sniping certainly haven't helped. But even if it feels endless, it doesn't mean we can't push for a better game environment otherwise, we'll be stuck with spawn snipes and ragequits forever.
