...which take up a pylon and don't let you take an additional bomb, remember. Can't equip 2 AIM-9G and 3xMk 77 mod 4 (and you need three to fully destroy a base) if you carry countermeasures, must sacrifice either a bomb or a missile.
And 60 countermeasures at this lvl are pretty many already, considering how easily most Fox 2 are flared away with a single drop and how unreliable early Fox 1 are.
I mean, there are also HE bombs to deal with tanks in ground battles. One additional 500 lb LDGP Mk 82 will be welcome, won't it?
