Quick people! Make a wish!!
current map sizes are literally what causes most of the problems: spawn trapping, CAS, SPAA ineffectiveness, "w-key noobs", etc. larger maps actually give people time to move and develop the battle, more options to attack objectives, more spawn locations... larger maps would fix so much.
But people can't take their head out of their ass over '"planed killed me needs nerf"
Regardless, I totally agree.
there isn't enough space in top tier battles for MBT era game-play, unfortunately a map-size increase would require an increase in attention span and effort on the part of the average player... and if you've spent any time reading posts here or on the forums you'll see the problems with that.
the fighting distance for Tigers in WW2 was 1-2km and Tigers crew been told to stay the ♥♥♥♥ out of towns...
Sands of Sinai is currently the only map where Tiger can be used the way it's supposed to be used.
I had lots of Matches on large Maps where i went to an Objective, encountered one person and while i was going for another Objective or pushing their Spawn the Match was already over when i got there, sometimes only got to see a grand total of 2-3 Enemies entire Match.
At least on smaller Maps people respawn more often and its sure to get some Action and not just drive to one Spot and remain there or stay at Spawn for several Minutes sniping into other Spawn, press Rangefinder and click LMB, done. Unless you go for Objective but then its just like on small Maps CQB if anyone went there with only difference being it takes ten times as long to get there with open fields inbetween.
that no one ever pings or communicates is even worse on large Maps too
And they are also a pain in the A** when you are in an unspaded Tank, nowadays i just insta return to Hangar when i want to spade a Tank and get a large Map.
Nah, back then the old Kursk map was peak for WW2 tanks like Tigers, Panthers or IS-1/2. I miss those times
Yeah, maps like Kursk, Arctic, Aral Sea, Fulda, Red Desert,
