Cant Purchase GJN coin through steam
I have a recent issue with purchasing GJN coins through steam
replenishing coins wasnt an issue for me until now. I keep getting an error message saying
"The purchase limit for this account has been exceeded."
Is anyone else having this issue? I have even sent Gajin support an email and they cant seem to help.

Did it it occur to you try googling the error you are getting by any chance...

there is a purchase limit of gaijin coins of twice what has been spent in the gaijin store directly in the past year. ie you would need to have spent $50 in the store in the last year to be able to buy $100 of Gaijin coins

this was changed because some morons would create burner accounts to buy their own vehicles from themselves on the market at exorbitant prices then reverse the charge which would get the burner account banned but leave the gaijin coins they hadn’t paid for on their real account which is literally fraud but actually investigating and proving it I can only imagine would be difficult if the burner account is properly anonymous

not an ideal solution by any means but its what we have

I have tried but every time I try to purchase GJN coins with my debit card. The payment screen doesn't give me the additional options for debit visa or master card
options that populate on my screen are

- Paysafecard
- skin cash
- cash 7 eleven
- cvs/pharmacy
- multi game card
- go cash
- Bitpay

Which non-apply to me. I have sent emails about the issue but they refer me back to the same Damn Article.

its amazing you believe this is done to prevent fraud and not to just milk heaps of money out of people. theres numerous ways of doing that to prevent fraud, but they chose the scummiest way, making people pump money into their game if they want to pump more money into the market.

So the precaution that prevents people from spending money is really a means to get them to spend more money?
If a person wanted to buy 1000 Gaijin coins they could not do it unless they had bought 500 in the prior year that they could not have done unless they spent 250 unless they spent 125 unless they spend 62.50
Do you see the problem? They are preventing people from spending money not encouraging or forcing them to.

that is the gist of it. instead of requiring accounts to be verified or purchase funds be delayed by a week or 2, they just make you spend more and more money on them to gain access, and that access only lasts 1 year before being reset. out of all the ways they could put in anti fraud measures, they chose the only one that just nets them more money

never mind. In order to use the market you need 2 step verification. But keep thinking it is a means to get people to spend more rather then limiting the amounts they can spend.

i dont know how i can make this any easier for you. you do not get the points by spending money in the market, and spending money does not rest the year. if you spent $50 in january then another $50 in december, come january the prior january will have expired and youve only got $50 credit.

if someone wants to buy anything on the market, that means theres an item they specifically want, which means they also have to spend more money on gaijin just to buy that item, which gaijin also gets a cut from. $50 plane? gotta spend an additional $25 on gaijin making that plane worth $75, and it goes up from there.

it doesn't stop anyone any more than the current premium vehicle prices stops people buying them.

2 step verification to buy stuff also means nothing, once again there are MULTIPLE ways to go about this that doesn't involve needing to spend money to use the market, why doesn't steam have this issue? because they have a proper anti fraud system in place, that works, that doesn't require money.

Back to OP's question..... I wonder why another US service, "PayPal", isn't offered to you either... Not knowing in which country you reside, I can only wonder whether you are in a place which is "not serviced" by Visa or Paypal for whatever reason...

Could it be that in order to buy at their website with cc cards, you need two-factor-authentification? If you have access to Paysafecards, just use those instead.
