best AIR country for new players (2025)
every country have his own style and newbies still don't know about the tactics you use in fight like "boom and zoom" for example, you have to thiking players only do turns or loops only so with this recommend 3 countries for new players.

for example:

for ace combat players i recommend japan.
for jack of trades germany.
for firepower soviets.

remember this is a newbie recommendation so think about people playing before top tier planes

Russian everything is newbie-friendly. They have distinct advantage and can be felt when you try them compared to other nations.

Russia has the lowest skill floor, US has the highest skill floor.
Honestly, Sweden is probably the best. All their planes can get Air Target belts at rank !, which basically sets everything on fire. You'll get some trouble through the early jet tiers, but for the first couple of ranks, I'd recommend that country.
US is uncontested regarding planes, specially top tier jets

IF the newbie reach jets ofc. for US you need to learn more about the game than just playing other games, once they reach rank 3 some they gonna find difficult to keep playing.

and the other problem is to learn how the jet HUD works, there is when the newbie learn to customize hotkeys. that's why we recommend NOT to rush top tier yet.

Russian, Yak 3 UFO model since 2013.
So I have many hours in War Thunder but I have only flown bombers and torpedo planes. If I wish to become a fighter pilot at tier I BR 1.0 where should I begin? (serious question)
Other player might see my level 100 but if they look at my fighter stats they should not panic
My top fighter has 3 air to air kills and 20 deaths (flying cap in naval battles or ground I never attack ground targets when flying CAP)
I came to War Thunder to be a fighter pilot but life is all the things you do when you are really trying to do something else.

US and USSR are the 2 easiest as I suck and have top tier in both, France is more difficult and I have absolutely learned some skills in air rb.
Also I am a new, new player at a join date of whenever new power came out.

Yeah, I just kinda stopped trying in air when I got to the AD-2. I have it spaded, and use it solely for CAS in Ground RB.
