War Thunder won't launch

My War Thunder won't launch and is stuck on the War Thunder logo which has a picture of a Soviet tank. Is there a solution to overcome this? I don't know how to add photos in the steam community

I'm having the same issue. I've force stopped, verified files, reinstalled, reset my computer, updated everything that needs to update, and still nothing. Has anyone else found a solution?

Has the same issue yesterday and got it today too. Game refuses to launch (only the first box appears) and then refuses to terminate. Got better yesterday after some small patch was downloaded, but today after another patch it came back.

+1 :( and I tried verifications, disabled steam and discord overlay, updated nvidia drivers.. nothing works anymore...

Same thing. Have not been able to get past the 1st launch window since the update.

Yea, there was another discussion posted about this on steam, yall are not alone. I am also unable to start the game. Reports are flooding in about people unable to launch the game.

I have been having the same problem I was able to get it to work by restarting my pc and then going to the games local files (Drive):\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\War Thunder\cache) and deleting everything under the cache folder and boot it was working yesterday but now i get nothing.

try starting it from the .exe directly from the game folder without going through steam, worked for me

Same problem. The first few times, restarting my pc or logging out and back in, worked. Now that doesn't work either.

I'm also having this issue, after force closing the game steam still thinks it's running until logging off/on or restarting.

Able to start the game via Warthunder Launcher but it doesn't pass on the steam auto-login.

Unsure what process is looking at to determine that warthunder is still running, it doesn't seem to be aces.exe or beac_wt_mlauncher.exe

Try the launcher in the WT files, this worked for me.
