M26 pershing

So i unlocked 6,7 for italy and i wanna play it more than 6.0 cuz i don't have Tiger. I'm asking is the m26 pershing any good at 6,7? I know the small cars at 6,7 are good but what about the m26? Also looking for people to play with me 4.0-6-7 :)))

M26 is a very solid and well rounded vehicle. Pretty good at a lot, but not amazing at anything. It will be a bit of a struggle until you get the APCBC rounds though, as the solid shot is super underwhelming

It's a good tank with a poweful APCBC, but it somewhat lacks penetration against the heavier stuff that you will face so I would also carry like 5 to 8 APCR just in case. Other than that it's a rather well rounded tank with a good reverse gear and workable armor. I suggest to play it as a flanker because it doesn't have enough armor and firepower at its tier to make successful frontal attacks.

It's a good tank in a bad place. The Americans got the jumbo version at the same BR, look out for those. Should be 6.0 but alas, the snail hates it..

The M26 Pershing? Nah, it works where it's at. Both the up armored and the regular Pershing are fun. Lighter Pershing works great on flanks, up armored Pershing is a great brawler

I can say the same for the M4A2, the jumbo before its fat, it works fine at 5.7. except its at 4.0... It's just weird.

m26 is just horrible at 6.7, it should be 6.0 max. has no armor and a meh cannon and awful mobility, not to mention there is other versions of itself that are better in every way at the same battle rating. lol

i play italy at top tier and can say that the m26 is preety good once you get the good shell. The light tanks are where italy really shine though, i mean the rifles are so good and the abul or whatever is good to. Your also playing after they added the new line and added all the new AA so it should be a lot more fun then it used to be. You will suffer at 7.7 through 9.0 so be prepared and get the wheeled light tank at 9.7

Gun depression good, fire power good , reverse is ok , armour still some but not ok , mobility is ok .
Play that tank same way as leopard1 style.

Once you get the APCBC and APCR it’s awesome. I usually only play it as a specialised role because I like to use the little fast bois most of the time, but I will bring out the M26 when there’s campers or snipers to take out or when brawling is necessary. Especially when they try to push spawn I will come out in the absolute Chad M26 and wipe the floor if you know what you’re doing. Overall it’s not quite as fun or as versatile as the speedy little guys but it’s excellent in specific scenarios. Oh and in Sim it’s badass.

I did get a nuke with the m26 tho, its pretty good if germans are in your team
