2025, ghost shells still not fixed.
Can we expect any level of competency here at some point?

The problem has been here for years, a problem entirely created by gaijin as this problem did not exist 7 to 8 years ago, and it has yet to be fixed.

Ghost shells can happen regardless of your own internet.
It's just a way of the game sometimes.

What's it like to have such a low level of education that you think ghost shells have anything to do with my internet speed?

You'll never "fix" Ghost Shells. They happen because your game client and the server aren't talking to each other, commonly caused by latency and/or packet loss.
one of the many reasons why i havent spent a cent in this game for years. if they can't provide a reliable fun game they don't deserve my money

Ironically, this wasn't a problem pre 2018 or 2017. They didn't exist, and then they started happening suddenly.

They were a thing since tanks were added. Probably even before that, but the frequency of noticing while in air to air combat is much lower. It’s just a connection thing. There’s no real fix for this, just mitigation. It’s incredibly rare for me though, had my first one in years just the other day.

Implying all things can be fixed

^ This. It's always been a thing.

There truly isn't a way to "fix" it in that you can entirely eliminate it.

On Gaijin's end, they can increase server capacity for the services they use (in the US they use AWS services, dunno what they do for Europe), but even then, that doesn't necessarily work. If your Internet is traveling through a busy network node, you're gonna have connection issues regardless of what Gaijin does. That's entirely on your ISP at that point. If your cables are damaged to any degree or your router/modem is old and may be failing, you're gonna have connection issues. If you're using wi-fi, you're likely going to have connections issues unless you're in line of sight of your wi-fi emitter.

It's a rabbit hole of an issue.

I personally very rarely experience Ghost Shells unless there's something odd going on in the US at a National scale. As I understand it in Europe, it can be a lot more "spotty" and from my observations it's much more likely to happen there than it is in the US.

If you're consistently experiencing an issue, do a Tracert test and send it to Gaijin.

Not really, internet infrastructure in Europe is much more robust compared to the US, by virtue of end users rarely being more than a few hops from major backbones, simply nothing in the hands of 3rd rate ISPs just trying to skate by with zero investment.

If there is an issue, it is likely to affect a lot more players at the same time though. Very rare to happen though, last time I remember must have been a couple of years ago.

It typically is the equipment at home that's faulty, which people always refuse to acknowledge. Just like with degraded thermal paste being somehow the responsiblity of devs to "OptImIzE thE gAmE".

War Thunder is literally running on 11 tick servers.

Case closed.

Given they put out a sticker to mock the issue instead of fixing it, I wouldn't expect it to ever be adressed

How are y'all liking this new Micro-Stutter update? Good thing it just so happens during a time sensitive event, while they also removed the discounted tokens.

Im sure its all just a coincidence though.
