Aim-54C is IMPOSSIBLE to notch

Now I have no issue notching fakours. But no matter what I do the aim 54C still tracks me. How? 6km away, im 90 degrees and dropping chaff every second. then it gets 2km away and i pull directly up, (still 90 degrees) and spam chaff. but it still hits. How is this fair? even the aim120 every crys about is easier to notch than this (not that it is difficult at all, the aim120 sucks if you know how to defend it)

Maneuver to bleed it's energy while you're notching it and dropping chaff. Don't wait till it's that close to maneuver. The farther it's out the more energy you can make it bleed.
