XP-55 Ascender

Have been seeing those whining threads about how much the 55 sucks, can't handle, can't dive, can't climb, can't shoot down anything. To those whiners I say : I just won a game with the 55, 7 bomber kills, 0 deaths and 46203 silver lions , 5,8k RP. The guns are just ripping the plane to shreds.

Either you think you can use the 55 as some sort of Dogfighting plane, or you are doing something seriously wrong here.

Why soo much hate on this Premium plane? Cant see the reason.

I never whined about it, but the XP-55 is just about the only premium aircraft I haven't got. I find it a tad overtiered maybe? Also, I find it a little expensive.

Playd the 55 alot of games, cant say it is overtiered when playing! it is Battle rating 3.7, tier 2. Soo it wont meet anyting above 4.0, also happens you meet players with 2.0-3.0 planes. Good matchmaking, nobody can outdive your plane and catch up to you.

I agree about the price, but must be because the design or something? As far as I know, no propeller plane have that almost jetplane design . Yes Ryuu, BnZ tactics are fantastic on it!

From my experience every fighter I've used isn't a Dog Fighter.. for some reason I can't dog Fight on War Thunder despite having like 20 years of flight simulation experience, it's all zoom/boom for me or praying on Bombers.. which is sad. Flight Models are broken on a lot of planes, most planes do not even have their real flight models but stand ins.

In turn though just because of that, it doesn't mean a plane is useless. My BF109's pray on Bombers and often do a good job at it. XP-55 is it that Pusher plane? I did test flights in it and I thought it handled well in general. An American plane with two 20mm cannons in the NOSE!? To me that is a Dream plane.
