War Thunder

Statistiche:
F-84 Thunderjet?
The Republic F-84 Thunderjet was an American turbojet fighter-bomber aircraft. Quoted from Wikipedia, but then again we all know that it's a Bomber/Fighter.

So where is my bomb loadout Gaijin? Any reason why it doesn't have it?

Nothing? :C
Suicide Bomber :)
i want to survive the mission.
its the same with the Fw 190 a1
Yeah, But the F-84 was a BOMBER, it's like putting a b-17 with no bomb loadout.... 10/10 gaijin
It is not comparable to a heavy bomber like a B-17. You should compare it to other Fighter/Bombers like the P-47 which was created by the same manufacturer.

It is true though that it dropped a lot of ordinance, speciffically in the Korean War. It really was the heir to the Thunderbolt.
yup I agree, I recently got the f84b, and I agree how its silly that a fighter bomber gets no rockets or bombs. Every American jet gets ordiance, even a the air superiority interceptor such as the sabre gets even 16 rockets, but f84 gets nothing.

Flight performance wise It flies very similarly to the f80c, and only advantage I noticed is that it seems to gain speed a bit faster in a dive then the f80. In terms of climb acceleration and mauverability it seems to perform about the same as a f80c.

atm the best jet for fighter bomber role seems to be the f9f panthers. it has the most diverse bombload of all jets. you can have 6 rockets or, 2 thousand pld bombs, 6 500 pound bombs, or 8 100 pound bombs.

Thanks a lot for the last part, and for your comment! Yeah i must agree that the Panther is a little piece of heaven fallen into warthunder!

Hopefully they'll add bombs and more to the F-84, then ill be happy to grind for it!
I came across this.

F84B original Datasheet. This website has datasheets of various old aircraft.

Wrote a topic in war thunder forums about it. It got noticed and someone reported it as a bug.

Sidenote: F84B was earliest variant of the F84.Early F84 had technical and reliability issues with engine. By the Time Korean war came around the F84E was already in service, much improved, and that was the primary model used to conduct the fighter bomber role.
