No sound at all.
Title says it all. I use two speakers and a subwoofer, and I've tried cranking my volume up to max to no avail. I get no sound what so ever but it was working ages ago.

I've had issues when I plug in headphones, the sound disables even after I unplug them; it may be the same with the sound system. However it's fine if it's all running at the same time.

Just check the volume control to see if windows is being moronic again and dropping volume just for war thunder to 0 for no reason. Other than that I haven't the faintest idea.

It's not windows that is being annoying, it's War Thunder.

As you said Bill, if you have a device plugged in, and then take it out - WT won't recognise that, and output the audio onto the desired device.

I can imagine it would be very annoying actually for those who just want chat through a headset, and then game sounds from some speakers.

In response to the OP, try and test the sound system with an ipod or something, and check first that it isnt the system that's gone

Log off the computer, log back in, then launch war thunder without doing anything else. Works every time for my friend.

Same thing happening to me. No sound except when in cockpit view.
Checked all setting, other devices, other games and they all work perfectly.
Ever since 1.39 update major sound issues.
I can get music but nothing else.
Makes it hard to fight when you can't hear engine, guns or other planes.

I have this issue as well. It's fairly annoying to have to completely restart my computer every time I'm unable to hear the game. I really hope they're working to see whats wrong here and fix it. Thanks.
