Underpowered and completely useless american planes

I have no idea what it is but american planes are have gone down in quality by a lot. i know they are boom and zoom but they cant even do that anymore. they get outclimbed when your trying to flee. they cant turn worth of anything. and there 50 cals are completely useless. i can lay over 1500 rounds in a PE-3 without it going down while a british plane burst into it with .303 and i get the assist(arcade though). It also seems american planes are lacking armor too. a burst from a 303 instantly takes any american plane out of combat. While on the other hand other nations seat tons of 50 cal ammo and maybe get one or two critical hits if that. Its like the 50 has been treated as a toy gun nothing more than a .22 while other nations with smaller munitions are like AA guns with wings. It gross how underpowered these planes have become, they used to be one of the best. I would like to see the devs make american planes a little more beefy and have a pair of balls.

Your comparing two different types of FPS games. War Thunder and CFS are simulators that do the exact same thing, simulate air to air combat with WWII planes.

Why would they be differant? They're both FPS games that have changable weapons. They both do the same thing, provide a first perspective of killing enemies.

Do you ONLY ever fly full simulator battles with the cockpit, no HUD, and a joystick? Then sure, WT and CFS are vaugly the same because they both involve airplanes from the same time period.

For the same planes, no. You can thank Gaijin and their plane bias for that.

Would be nice to have the Americans balanced that way, having them be BnZers like the Germans, and replace their accurate below average armaments with accurate above average survivabliity. Other than the infamous glass tail on the Corsair, American planes were notoriously well armoured, and having that be reflected in game would help their tactics, since they could zoom in, do some decent damage with their 50s, and then zoom out, and then they would have a better chance of out running their opposition due to their speed and survivability. Basically, Germans could be BnZers with more offense, and Americans would eb BnZers with more defense.

alright, just got out of a match, it was a military exercise so im fighting the british as an american plane and this guys in a beaufighter is probably one of hte most annoying players ive had to deal with. he know he cant out turn me but he out runs my F6F so he might go away for a time and he comes back to get shredded. well, it gets to the point where im run out of ammo just riddling this dude(i was short on ammo from shooting down two other planes) and he goes to the airfeild where one of my teammates is almosty ready to take off from repairing and he gets shot down, then i riddle him a little and he goes away to about 2 KM and comes back. i have already run out of ammo so i go to land. as im slowing down he riddles me. To me, both of those kills shouldnt count as aircraft kills mostly because its the cheapest thing you can do to win the game. And i dont know what it is but the dude just ate up the last 800 rounds i had, did not care. to me, i think the kills shouldve been rewarded as ground units and not under aircraft. just a little dtory on how cheap and unfair peope are just so they can win.

Look at the Fw190 Dora, or Dive Bombers, same story. Germans took a big hit when they nerfed Dive Bombing, being they have 5 Dive Bombers, now you have to literally drop below 500-700 meters just to drop a bomb accurately when diving, while level bombers get laser guided bombs.

If it isn't Russian it gets nerfed. Russia has no Dive Bombers unlike the Japanese, the US or Germany.
