Yes only the MUSTANG. However, since you mentioned the sabre and now it seems I am fraked cause I am only grinding the first branch... wat should I do? grind the other?
:O I can't believe I screwed up the research tree this much. hmmm I did unlock the havoc and going for the mitchell now. but the naval fighters are untoched
Be aware that MM is not (as someone has pointed out) historical. You are not really facing the historical opponents, this is a game and Gajin has setup the Tiers for "Balance" for their game (though sometimes I don't think their "balance" and what is "balanced" is correct. lol
Unless you are playing early war aircraft, you won't find to many pure "turn" fighters in any american warplane. American planes were more of a balance between speed/nimbleness/dive characteristics then pure turn and burn aircraft. Fight more in the vertical with american planes then in the horizontal (turning doesn't always mean turn and burn, you can turn vertically often times faster then horizontally.)
If you wish to face more historical like opponents, look for the event missions which are typically limited to the aircraft of that particular "battle".
