Free look with joystick.

Hello everyone,

I've run into a problem I can't find the asnwer to nor solve. I've been playing both with a logitech extreme 3d pro and a madkatz/saitek x52 and for some reason no matter what axis I assign for being able to look around my cockpit it never works.

On top of that even if I set my mouse to be for view controlls only its still completely non functional unless unless I set the mouse as a control and camera device can I look around.

It hasn't really beena big deal overall but I still figure somebody knows what I'm missing out on here.

Gametrix vTrack Mkl, Oculus Rift, etc. I play in SB on bombers with a mouse

Well, thanks for the advice but im not really in the market to buy a tracker. I've been through the control setup wizard so I have the defines in but it simply won't work when in game.

Not sure but someone said you can use both mouse to aim, shoot and look around and joystick to control the plane at the same moment

Can't you just setup a button on the joystick to be the 'C key' then depress that button and move joystick when you want to look around?

Yea I've already tried that, it still doesn't start looking around. Feels like a pretty helpless situation.

I use Track IR 5. Rather pricey, but takes care of the camera probelm
