Skins and decals?

I only have unlocked a few decals so far, playing tier 1 arcade. I was wondering if you can erase, move or test this stuff. I don't want to permanantly mess up the look of my fav planes, and I can't find any info on this elsewhere.

You can remove and put decals on your planes as you see fit, the ones you have unlocked at least.

The little x on top right corner will cancel the decal. As for skins, just chose a different one.

Thanks Tomwyr. Looking at the skins unlock requirements I am still a long grind off getting there playing tier 1 arcade. Lol.

realistic battles have a multiplier on them, some skins may be unlocked faster on that mode.

Fury Mk I & II have a nice skin for 10 players shot down each, and He-51 B1 needs 15 kills for a new skin :)

You must have great skills Tomwyr. I'm getting 2-3 kills a few assists per battle. Wait. You mean total kills? That's doable. To the air!

1 or 2 per game with a Fury or He 51 as long as you stay in tier 1 games shouldn't be too hard, you(ll get the skins pretty soon.

It'll prepare you mentally to get 250 kills with the P-40 for the checkertail skin ;)

I just like to play for skins and decals, or at least until an aircraft is fully geared up, stick to certain aircraft and don't bother to become too impatient about unlocking new planes (which will just happen, eventually, anyways).

Yeah the skins and decals are more interesting to me than advancing to tier 2 planes at the moment. No point rushing to get higher tier stuff unless I know how to use it.

i highly recomend using the steam market and buying the snowflake decals. theyre anywhere from 0.03 to 80 bucks.
