Sound mods like RCSM gives too much advantage with Audio Ques
I started using it 1 month ago because of sound issue in this recent patch. I discovered it gives too much advantage, and I can tell more than 30% of the players use the same mod when both of you react instantly when entering your respective detection range. Usually, vanilla players don't react that quick.

I just entered a rabbit hole that I can't play without it. It gives significant edge in close quarters. Will Gaijin to regulate these? It's like drugs, I know it's unfair, however, right now I am addicted using it. :love_seagull:

is it that substantial?
i have some good headphones and i can usually tell the precise location of an enemy before i can see them just by looking around and hearing where the sound comes from

Yeah, it's like engine noises is always cranked to maxed regardless how far from the source after rendering in your detection range. Only disadvantage I can tell from GRB everything feels too close to you.

The only time I don't immediately detect other vehicles from their engines with a purely vanilla experience, is when Gaijin's anti-cheat system renders enemies undetectable from the server side of things, or if they get completely covered up by aircraft or my teammate's engines. (the latter is the most common)

Most players that immediately "snap" when an enemy becomes detectable are using an ESP or aimbot cheat, not good headphones and a sound mod.
