I'm so mad, call me mad
They still haven't fixed the fact that your nuke can just get shot at and disappear. it just straight up disappears. not explosion nothing. I am going to hunt you down Snail....

See my above. There is a specific train of events inside the bomb that produces the nuclear explosion. If say the mechanism that set the altitude to start the train was disabled then it would never start the sequence. But then this is just a game. No one has ever actually shot down a nuclear bomb.
So you're telling me, I can shoot at a nuclear bomb with a .50 and ill be fine?
Actually you can drop a nuke from low and even cruising altitude and you'll be fine as long as it isn't primed, and you can beat the hell out of it and even shoot it while it is primed, possibly even break the reaction if you'd like. There is even a funny story from the US where they dropped a nuke on american soil by accident but it didn't go off. They can be really sturdy but the housing itself won't stop a 50 cal from penning or possibly breaking it and the way they explode is so precise that you will have an easier time killing yourself in a game of Russian roulette than standing around with a nuclear bomb and emptying a .50 cal into it.

It's honestly one of the nice things about them over more volatile munitions, kinda like plastic explosives where you can shoot, burn and even eat them and they won't explode (though you will still be in trouble if you do burn or eat them so it's not recommended even if people do it regardless.). Nukes don't work via basic kinetic or even normal heat reactions that other explosives use.

In the Nukes we have in game, you have a sort of basic bomb with a nuclear explosive reaction waiting to be primed and set off inside it. This reaction requires a high pressure/compression event as they cause the nuclear material to compress into a critical mass state and then beyond that alongside an explosion from the generic explosives in the bomb in an incredibly delicate and precise way so that you get an affect sort of like clapping your hands, the air is compressed here via the precise action of your hands which requires a ton of stimuli, muscle movement and a bit of coordination to achieve and then you get a clap, simply zapping you with a tazer won't make you clap, much like shooting a nuclear bomb won't give you a mushroom cloud, sure there is a infinitely small chance that it will, but again, Russian roulette will be a much faster method of ending yourself with way better odds of success. There is also the fact that the bomb might not do anything if shot so it'll just hit the ground like a big rock if you shot it and the chain was broken at the right moment so Gaijin could have it either despawn and that way it doesn't get in the way, have it explode but a tiny explosion or have it hit the ground and leave a small crater with no explosion.

Well it would not be magically. They have been hit by some kind of projectile that resulted in their destruction prior to the sequence required for the desired nuclear explosion making them just so much debris.
depending on range 7.62 can pen up to 10 inches of Armour. And nuke bombs are not armored.
7.62mm penetrating 10 INCHES of armor? 10 inches is 254mm. What 7.62mm gun are you using that can pen more then the Tiger 2?

As for OP, it was considered a bug with the nuke getting shot out and they fixed it but later reverted the fix without saying a thing.

Cruh.
Oh I did say 10 inches I meant 10 mm (or a little over half an inch ?) depending on the armor) I am an american and the entire mm versus inches thing is baffling. I know 76 mm is 3 inches so I go back to 10 mm being next to nothing. But I did say inches so you got me there.
But a 7.62mm can pen 10 mm
