German Aviation active radar homing missile
Is there any plane in the german tech tree that still has such missiles? Or can only the "unbiased" russians still do it? I can't seem to find any.

both F-4F (both tech tree versions) and the Su-22M4 have fire and forget missiles.

even the eurofighter and the last tornado gets GPS bombs (just no missiles).

if it says "guidance: IR" or "guidance: TV" on the missiles descriptions for stuff like the "AGM-65G" it means they are fire and forget.

legit this whole post just makes you look silly because you clearly dont know the games mechanics enough but still complain about muh russian bias.

Did you actually look at the tree?

awful bait, used to be trolls put some effort in which resulted in some interesting discussions, this is just kinda pathetic

tf are you even talking about?

you do know every nation in the game has fox 3 missiles right? if you are talking about ground targets then there is only anti ship missiles which germany indeed does get.

what even is this muh russian bias post?

I'm literally asking. Where is it? I got the eurofighter and someone told me it once had them too and they got removed. What plane has it. Or does the Eurofigher have it and I'm doing smth wrong?

Do you actually just not know what a fox 3 is....?

AIM-120B is a Fox 3, your active radar homing missile

The F-4F KWS LV in the tree right before it got them too

To rephrase my questions: Are there planes in the german tech tree that have "fire and forget" missiles for ground targets. I don't really know the exact term or whatever. I just wanna know if it has missiles where I don't need to hold a lock the whole time.

Yeah I said in the response before that I forgot to mention I meant for ground targets.

again there isnt and there wont be any active homing missiles against ground targets any time soon. the ones on the dev server right now for russia are only against ships (correct me if im wrong).

germany also already has active homing missiles against ships with the event plane "Tornado IDS Marieflieger".

also this is an incredibly petty reason to complain about since any normal missile and bomb will do the same job. plus eurofighter already is the best jet in the game what more do you want?

What are the missiles that you encounter in Ground RB all the time called then? They climb high and select multiple targets to kill. Cant be gps because it follows the targets if they move.

What they took from the Brimstones was its lock after launch capability

If they gave us fully implemented Brimstones you would be able to launch your 18 missiles towards the tank battle without looking for targets at all and they would find targets for themselves

Yes. AND guess what. That is what my whole question is about. I thought the brimstones could do it. They cant. But other nations can still do it. Thats why I asked if germany has similar capabilities.
