Do with that information what you will.
Try to remember you aren't flying only to your strengths and opponent's weaknesses. You're trying to win the energy war, always. I don't give a ♥♥♥♥ what the climb rate of the Mig-15 is. If he has no energy to begin with and tries to start climbing from you at a steep angle, which I'm pretty sure most war thunder gamers do, you win the fight period.
Same as if you try to sustain a turn outside of the Mig at a low airspeed. He'll kill you in that turn.
I have little experience in the sabre, and none in the mig, however this is the impression I get, assuming the planes are at the same energy level when they engage:
-Mig can out climb the sabre
-Mig can retain energy better in turns
-Mig has bigger guns, albeit harder to hit stuff with
-Mig bleeds speed when shooting, due to the large kickback
-Sabre can out turn the mig, but at a HUGE energy cost due to flaps on the front of the wings
-Sabre can sustain fire for longer
-Sabre can dive away and the mig can't catch it
-Sabre looses almost no speed when firing it's guns
All in all, I'd rather be in the sabre. The mig's only real chance of victory is to climb away, or manage to out maneuver the sabre for a minute so it bleeds all its speed.
I do find it a bit unrealistic how the sabre can go into a slight turn at 800kmph, and come out of that slight turn at 500. No other plane bleeds like that, even the russian prop planes that have the wing flaps as well. Anyone else think it's a bit too broken?
The USSR MiG 15-MiG 15 BiS really varies but the main concern in my opinion is the speed cause if you mess up your line up shot for a Sabre and you start running away he may be able to catch up and shoot you down no problem and the other concern is that the ammo count is really scarce with weird allignment of the NS23 23mm cannons and the 37mm cannon... with more than half your team being GDR MiGs who are worse than American T4 pilots but that's none of my business.
