How do you set up the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro?

I've tried for a couple of hours to get my new joystick to get working, but I cant. I've re-installed the drivers and searched all over the internet. Can someone give me step by step instructions on how to set it up?

Can only give advice for generic joystick. Go to controls and select control setup wizard. if your joystick isnt there then go th the setup wizzard (in the bottom right corner) and follow what it wants you to do. Hope this helps

Go to controls select setup wizard. Select Logitech Extreme 3D pro. Customize as you see fit. Save control scheme.

I figured out my problem. I relised that my game was picking up my X-Box contoler as a joystick, and was using that. I needed to change it to the correct device. Other that that, other tutorials will do.
