T28 op?

ive been playing as germany for a while now but got fustrated on how the t28 is a one shot pretty much anywhere so i tought maybe the driver is skilled so i let it go then it kept happeneing. This is when i decided to play as rusia and unlocked the t28 and turns out u dont need to be a good driver to get one shot kills just point and click so hopefully gajin balances it out for geermany (personal experience & opinion)

yes if you give em the fuse ammo they can hit hard but its kind of balanced out by being relatively easy to blow up I'd say they kind of a glass cannon really

Very much a glass cannon. The T28 has I believe the biggest gun for it's teir, and it gets shrapnel ammo that can gut any tank it penetrates, but has rather poor penetration. The penetration issue isn't really an issue at low tiers however, since most tanks have weak spots that it can easily hit. However, this is balanced by an almost complete lack of armor on the T28, especially the sides, and you can fairly reliably ammo rack it with a well placed side shot.

t28 as well as t50 are clearly OP tanks.....i play both side, and clearly, ATM there is no point in playing german at least in the first rank

what glass cannon are you talking about? ı have no problem with killing them but they just eat shells...ı remember hitting a T-28 from 10 meters with 75mm HEAT, guess what happened '' target hasn't taken any damage''...

they are good, not denying it, but he T50 smaller, faster, and with a crazy ROF.

T-50 is a bit OP, could maybe stand to be up to 3.7 BR. It's no worse than the Panzer IV F2, though.

The T-28 is fine, though. It's armor is paper mache and its gun is very low velocity, meaning it's hard to aim over distance and loses power quickly in any case. It's HUGE too. Even taller than the Panzers. That makes it a pretty easy target.

Basically, don't take T-28s on at close range and it'll be fine.

i only play germans purly in war thunder, i dont like other civ tanks the way they work or look, however i slaughter so many germans in all other ww2 games i play like hordes and waves of germans it gets boring tho, really.

Yeah, Russian named many of their tanks T-XX, whereas the Americans named some of their Prototype and developmental tanks TXX. Just leave the hyphen out when the number is the same and confusion can and does happen.
