Why can't I have more than 1 of the same plane ?

you can only have 1 of each, :P

you can, with GE as a back-up plane. But it is used only once until you buy another, and it can only be used in AB battles. That is just the way the game works, sorry.

What you can do, if you wanted to that is, is when you play a match, only fly that plane, and when you die, leave the match, and start another match. Personally I don't do that, no matter how much I love a plane. One, because I have 6 crew for each nation. Two, it's not a good thing to only have one plane per match (arcade that is), because you are screwing over the team and also not helping to win the match.

You could play realistic/sim mode to do this without screwing over your team (you only get to fly one plane in those modes anyways), but those modes are not for everyone.

the main reason being that they dont want people only getting loads of the really good planes so everyone is OP, like the 2b
