assault arcade mode is not fun
so was just playing assault arcade in my is-3 and it sucked balls at what point does it make sense to pin me and the other 7.0 and some 6.7 players againts super ai mbt's.
like come on within seconds we were all being pelted with sabos and heatfs the moment we spawned after dying.

Assault is supposed to be incredibly difficult and it is supposed to be broken and unfair at high and even top tier. If you stay in the Cap Square you will die, and on most maps you will die within the first minute, minute and a half when playing high tier vehicles. You must leave the cap zone in a fast tank and get to cover behind where the enemy spawns as otherwise you will turned into a sabot magnet. Best advice I can give aside from getting as far away from the cap as possible is to never ever play assault at BR 4.0+ you will lose and you will die without any hope of holding off the waves of enemies, 10.0-11.0 MBT's might be ble to reach a safe area before the first couple of waves come but I wouldn't try it, stay around BR 2.0-3.3.

Best advice I can give for it is to make sure your vehicle(s) are near the top of an Assault BR range, because if you are fully "uptiered" you'll almost certainly suffer for it. Also, in Ground you (ideally) want to pick vehicles that have relatively fast reloads, because if you only fire once every ~20 seconds you are relying on the rest of the team to carry you through the waves.

They should make a KV-2 award for Assault
