Nobody here can really help you.
Killing teammates (even in Sim) is still killing teammates.
And I've actually never seen a Chinese mod.
That's why you got banned.
Not because it's you first day.
The term "accidentally" is irrelevant.
you might have only had one in the last 24 hours they get added to the rest.
It also depends on how the team kill happens and if you were reported.
so team kill 1 a week, you get away with it,
but over a period of time, these will add up and you will be flagged by the system and banned.
At this point you need to contact a mod.
BUT don't hold your breath, I contacted one and 2+ years later he has still not opened the email on WT forum even though he is still posting.
good luck on not getting ignored.
The only real problems are the occasional captured and crossover vehicles, like the East German BMP 1 that occasionally ends up on the NATO side in the cold war sim battles, but there it's understandable. And usually the players who are using them have something to let their team recognise them as friendly, such as the Balkenkreuz cross on the side of my BMP, or they'll deliberately turn their turret or entire tank to the side as a show of being friendly if you come towards them head on.
Bans usually occur due to mass reporting or if the mod was killed/is friends with the person you killed. in ground RB I watched as a pz4 wiped out most of our team with arty and then a 500kg bomb and then more arty, 7 team kills total (9vs9 match), but nobody was a mod and nobody reported him mostly because it was funny rather than annoying. Bans for team killing are mostly luck based though the higher the body count the more likely someone is gonna call the mods.
Though I would recommend playing super low tier sim just to avoid repair cost from other players due to "friendly" fire
