Nobody here can really help you.

Killing teammates (even in Sim) is still killing teammates.

And I've actually never seen a Chinese mod.

i only had 2 tank sim games today and my ban came after my second tank sim match where i got used to it
lesson learned here never play tank sim ever again and if want to go back again i have to memorize every detail of every tank of each country

You don't get a ban for just 1 team kill in a sim match. I've team killed at least 3/4 players in the 15 or so Sim matches I've played and I've nto had 1 ban......why are you talking :poop: OP?

This. You get kicked from the match and only get banned if you keep teamkilling in matches after that, so you must have been killing a lot more than "1 or 2".

That's why you got banned.

Not because it's you first day.

The term "accidentally" is irrelevant.

so your expecting me as a new play in tank sim to play it like its tarkov always asking if that you before shooting and plus i've not fully memorize every tank in every detail

i've only team killed one player, and detracted two so i guess that still counts as team killing

team kill bans add up over time,
you might have only had one in the last 24 hours they get added to the rest.

It also depends on how the team kill happens and if you were reported.

so team kill 1 a week, you get away with it,
but over a period of time, these will add up and you will be flagged by the system and banned.

At this point you need to contact a mod.

BUT don't hold your breath, I contacted one and 2+ years later he has still not opened the email on WT forum even though he is still posting.

good luck on not getting ignored.

its only 24 hours for now since this is my first ban is 7 years of playing
As a general rule for ground Sim, the only nations you really need to know the tanks of are Russia and Germany. Those are the two who get put on their own teams (Germany plus the very odd Italian and even odder Japanese tank in the WW2 sim battles, Russia and the Chinese copycat designs in the Cold War sim battles), and as long as you can recognise the general shape of their turrets and chassis (half-sphere turrets on long cuboid chassis with frontal sloping post war Russians - Germany's WW2 tanks) you can make the decision on whether to shoot or not.

The only real problems are the occasional captured and crossover vehicles, like the East German BMP 1 that occasionally ends up on the NATO side in the cold war sim battles, but there it's understandable. And usually the players who are using them have something to let their team recognise them as friendly, such as the Balkenkreuz cross on the side of my BMP, or they'll deliberately turn their turret or entire tank to the side as a show of being friendly if you come towards them head on.

germany and russia is easy to remember since it was a ww2 sim battle i joined my problems where the italians and japanese because they were using allied lend lease tanks and which almost cost me a 2nd team kill until i saw a tiger pulled up beside it

Correct.
Murphy's law: Friendly fire isn't...

Bans usually occur due to mass reporting or if the mod was killed/is friends with the person you killed. in ground RB I watched as a pz4 wiped out most of our team with arty and then a 500kg bomb and then more arty, 7 team kills total (9vs9 match), but nobody was a mod and nobody reported him mostly because it was funny rather than annoying. Bans for team killing are mostly luck based though the higher the body count the more likely someone is gonna call the mods.

yeah pretty much
Though I would recommend playing super low tier sim just to avoid repair cost from other players due to "friendly" fire
