No cheats in WarThunder?

I was googling for the codes you use to send messages in chat, like 'help' and 'thanks', and instead of 'chat codes warthunder' I got the results for 'cheat codes warthunder'. Now, hear me out ... I found at least one site which repeated the same thing I've read here on the forum, about the server and how it can't be hacked. But this hack/cheat claimed to give you autoaim, especially effective in Ground Forces as it not only aimed and shot automatically, but also automatically aimed at the weakspots. All using only the information on your end.

Except that's not a hack, anyone can use/abuse it for RB/SB modes.

Well its hard to say with those one shot kills, because when i go up againsts a kv2 in my tiger 1 8 times out of 10 my first shot kills it, and thats just me knowing where to shoot the tank from the amount of time i have played the game and xray cam.

I can tell you that few days ago I was complaining on ingame cheaters and suddently another player asked me to give him the website URL where he could find some cheats to use, because "it is fair if others do the same" (his words). You can also find players that admit clearly they use cheats while ingame playing.

After this answer, I've deleted the local contests of the game....

I really can't fell anything fair to see my battle-points and medals earned by a cheat in place of me. Where is the satisfaction to see own victories stole by someone's cheat ? And I'm referring to myself if I'd use it!

So, the point is no more if the Server can be hacked or not, but the game is cheated for sure.

Oh, and I have yet to see cheats in this game or something fishy that can't be explained by the very random nature of the damage and, in Ground Forces, penetration models. I've had short one-burst kills in planes with low caliber guns and at other times I had to pour in my whole magazine. I had one shot kills against tanks, where I didn't think it possible, but got a lucky roll on the RNG and others where I poured shot after shot into a tank and didn't get a kill.

I had lucky snap shots and I had other luckily snap shot me. Yet I have never seen any indication that there are cheats or that there is an inflated kill count that can't be reached by having one good game (which I also have from time to time) or knowing the strenghts and weaknesses of a plane or tank.

the proof is when you find other players that admit clearly they use cheats and it is even "fair" to do so.

I have met these players and even others asking me where to download a cheat to use ingame.

Doesn't remove terrain however, and in the video you can clearly see the guys aim SNAPPING and not moving like it would do from a mouse

Totally agree, I was shot from a russian tank, which would be impossible to see me throught the foilage, but still got me. I quit this garbage, because of this and possible cheats doing the rounds. Its always these F2P games having cheats and aimbots! Nice graphics, but too much of a frustration. This game is not enjoyable like other games I pay for.

Today is the day I decided to quit this trash, after getting shot from the Russian, which according to the killcam, would be impossible to hit me, because of said scrubs and foliage in the way. The only possible reason for this is, cheat or disabled foliage in the settings. We are not even. Its at your disadvantage to play the game on high graphics settings whilst people on lower graphics ssettings getting away with things like these. Also remember, it become more expensive to just play the game, because you have to pay for your tank repairs!

You should not use foliage for cover. I play a high settings and I can still spot people hiding behind shrubs and bushes. Tanks stick out. All you have to do is spot a barrel, colour of the tank, decal shape, disscolouration, and more. As for people using ultra low settings to dissable shrubs, 1.53 will be adding more shrubs and bushes to ultra low settings.

Really? What's noticable about a multi-ton metal death machine exhausting smoke, sparks, fire, and sound while it knocks down trees and hides behind shrubs? (This is not to be taken seriously, just felt like having some fun)
