Low tier German vehicles are glass cannons. The armor stops next to nothing, but they'll kill most things they run into. Play them accordingly.

i guess if im using the more expensive ammo but unless im sIG 33 or whatever its called i dont kill much

Being one-shotted is quite normal in general. Many tanks (most germans included) shoot aphe shells and those can very easily one shot almost any tank as long as you manage to penetrate their armour since they explode once inside.

From personal experience, I found low tier Germans to be quite powerful. As others had mentioned though, their armor design doesn't leave much forgiveness though, so making that shot count is vital.

As mentioned, their strength is totally in the guns and ammo.

Don't think you can't be "one-shotted" in this game. Carry less than one half of your ammo. I carry only a third. A shot by the enemy to your ammo rack will "one-shot" you (vice-versa). Memorize where every tanks ammo rack is located. Most are side of hull and turret. Don't forget you can peak over hills with your bino's without exposing yourself. Regarding going around corners use 3rd person.

Yeah, I think all of the early tanks (any nation) seem to have terrible armor and most have designs that make them fairly easy to one-shot. In those first few tanks, "heavy armor" is the kind that can stop rifle-caliber bullets--not anti-tank rounds.

I think the first tank that can semi-reliably stop tank rounds is the French B1-bis at 2.3-ish. Do not attack those head on, you will almost always die. Heck, many tanks around that BR have trouble penning it if you shove your barrel up the B1's exhaust pipe. UK also has a heavy tank or two at about the same BR but you don't really see those in matches. Americans have a pretty heavy tank too (M3?) but it isn't quite as invulnerable from the front if you are close in and is much more vulnerable to flanking.

All German Tanks is about their Guns & Speed and not much on Armor aside hitting Mid Tier which goes all 3 ways until Top Tier where it's now Position and Mobility.
The Playstyle is kinda 50/50 for players either Sniping or Brawling.

Was playing German tanks until late Rank 3 and then started Japanese tanks from Rank 1. Now im at rank 4 Japanese and i agree on that.

Both nations are glass cannons at those Ranks but they have one-shot / two-shot ammo if you penetrate. Just gotta learn how to ambush opponents and always be aware that in moment when you are going out of cover, you are 100% dead so kill at least one enemy before dying :]

It goes both ways. You can also wear bushes. At least you don't have tags on like in Arcade Battles.
