Why only the first Ju 87 has siren(Jericho trumpet)?

Only the first one has it, because it was also removed from the later versions in real life.
And ground forces can't hear it, because it's just annoying in the long term.

Tested it with my friend. Shame they cant hear it =/ Also I don't personally think it would be enough to annoy anyone. because only one stuka has the sirens and no one uses it when you can have fighters with bigger bombload flying around.

If tanks could hear it, I would even use it in Tier V tank battles! (Just think of driving your tank and hearing the siren and suddenly having to look up and wonder if your death is imminent or if if is going for one of your team mates.)

I tried using the jericho trumpet on the Ju 87 B2 on the Play Station 4, does not work, so.. it only works on PC?

Old thread, but whatever. It activates around 360-380km/h range, so only durring a long dive (as it was intended) and reaching a good speed. If you want to hear it, dive and gain some speed (ideal speed is around 400-410km/h I find). Oh, and be sure to use a fuse (3 seconds is good for it) and airbrakes when pulling up.
