Is any of the British tech trees worth the grind?
Is the tank tech tree or the plane one worth it? Cause i already am planning to do germany and russia. I currently am already doing american plane and tank. I know the tech trees take quite a while to complete, and I dont wanna get burnt out on grinding this game.

Tanks, no. I'm at rank 3 and it's been the worst nation I've played thus far. As a Brit tanker, you have to dissect every enemy. Solid shot has abysmal post-pen damage. Early APDS has a tendency to shatter. Stock round is AP. The 2 and 6pdr have an insane amount of dispersion. The forwards mobility, zero-point turning and gun depression are nice, but they reverse at an abysmal 3 km/h and have virtually no armor so survival in any engagement is iffy.
tanks in lowtier is...not nice but they are really nice from 8.3 and up until u get the challanger 2's because they got a way to big breach area so your gun goes black against most hits u take.
my fav. area is 8.3 - 10.7

17pdrs are fun.
The Fox is great.
7.7, 8.3, 8.7 are great fun.
9.3 is plenty of fun too.

So thats rank III through rank VI that is well worth the time.
Planes most def yes.
Tanks...eh.....IDK, its suffering at first lol
Naval, no idea, but its England, so I would think its ok (im grinding japanese naval rn)

But planes are really good for the most part and honestly, 109e vs spitfire mk1 is pretty classic

Only planes I enjoy on the brit tech tree are Spit Mk 1a and Firecrest, maybe also Hornet. The rest are pain incarnate to fly.

While post-pen is an issue with brits, solids have you pen basically anything on the plus side. But without magic ammo that anihilates the entire crew when only scratching the track (looking at you russians) you have to learn weakpoints and crew placement of your enemies.
Hunting a Maus on 7.7 with APDS is quite fun.

8.3 britain ground has one of the most fun lineups in the game imho

Don't forget the Typhoon. That one also gets a pass.
It is worth the grind if you enjoy playing British vehicles they are fun and varied but their ammunition is usually under powered in ground so you have to be lucky or have good aim. Get used to sneaking up on a tank, slotting one in a weak point at close range only to have it slowly rotate and destroy you instantly. I like the planes but they still suffer from weak guns. I mostly play SPAA, bombers and naval where they are a bit stronger. They are great for coastal.
Plane tree isn't bad, ground tree is pain and agony due to the prevalence of solid shot being the most common round, and poor APDS performance in the mid tiers. Once you get to higher tier, the UK tend to be pretty nasty, but you'll be left alone in a field of dead 1 and out premiums.

Tanks get good in cold war era but you gotta play to their strengths, people who complain about speed aren't. The mk IX and Mk XVIII spits are awesome among some other gems. Jets an be a bit of a struggle, you gotta make them play your gameplan not play theirs, and top tier is just top tier. fun and hell at the same time

got to british top tier tanks some time ago... un-fun. there are some gems though, centurion mk3 is the first tank i got a nuke with, so there's that. other than that, the higher tier tanks tend to be slower, with lackluster rounds. lower tiers, their guns are actually kinda good. still suffers from solid-shot-itis, i.e. sometimes your shell does literally nothing post-pen.
