Why such horrible teammates
Like okay i get it, im not the greatest player either, but seriously i feel like i lose at least 90% of the games i play. i swear i have teammates that belong in a mental hospital man. like it cant all be my fault, and in most games i have a positive kd. its just infuriating when legit everyone on my team seems like they purposely rush and die. i can only do so much to help these people. and they arent just beginners either, im tier 4 germany, these arent really considered "new" players. even with limited experience, they shouldn't act like they are a 5 year old driving a tank

KD is the least important metric. How do you do on taking caps per battle?
On your team you have a player with 10 kills and you lose because the other team has a player who died 4 times and then took a cap with a SPAA vehicle.

dead enemies can neither cap nor prevent you from capping.

I think a lot of these players are newbs. They are either buying their way into a tier legitimately or they are buying accounts on the black market.

Or they are Noobs that just die their way upwards over a long period of time - would be my explaination for so many idiots in high tier

Sometimes. Generally people rush enemy spawns, so you can rack up a 5.0+ KD while being of no use to your team whatsoever because your targets weren't of any threat to it either.

They weren't a threat while they're in the spawn... but when they approach the cap they would have become a threat... It's always good to take out enemies before they become a threat...
The enemy team loses both tickets as well as spawn points without gaining any new spawn points... It's positive trade and good for your team...

the teammates who don't manage to kill anything but die 3-4 times feeding a lot of spawn points to the enemy team, those are the bad ones who aren't of any help to the team...

In the case that they would actually approach the caps, yes. From my experience watching my teams, it's usually those willing to die over and over that get the job done while the rest just wait for the enemy to come to our spawn so they can play the "patient hunter".

Cherry on top is that KD flaunting in this game has become almost synonymous with ODLing, because you can bet your ass those people will quit to save their precious streak and claim it's to "deny the enemy spawn points", meanwhile all those spawn points they've gained vanish while the enemy respawns anyway.

but it's the ones keeping enemies away from the cap who enable people who die over and over again to get the job of cleaning enemies in the cap and then capping done.

Again, *if* they are keeping enemies away. If enemies just rush straight past the caps to go towards our spawn and someone is sitting there sniping them as they approach, they're not helping against the enemies that are actually watching the caps those willing to get off the spawn are trying to get to.

How are enemies supposed to rush past the cap when they die as soon as they leave the spawn?
They're suppressing reinforcements while your job is to clean up the leftovers.
If you fail to do your job, despite potential numerical advantage, then you're the problem, not the one suppressing enemy reinforcements..

You misunderstand. Teammates racking up kills are not sitting at the enemy spawn, they are sitting at their own spawn. They spawn in, barely move an inch behind the nearest mound, and wait for enemies looking to spawncamp them - i.e. not caring about caps whatsoever as well - to charge into their sights and die.

The team doesn't benefit from it whatsoever because they're just holding the map control back instead of actually moving up and pushing the line to support the people actually trying to capture the points, but hey, that KD looks nice on their statcard, I guess.

Are you now talking only about the few maps, that have decent overwatch/sniping spots near their spawn? Or are you talking about general? Because if it's about general, i never seen that happen in map, that do not have decent overwatch/sniping spots near spawn.

As long as it's an open map, I've seen it happen all the time. Doesn't need to be a good position, just anything that lets you peek out and shoot someone trying to approach your spawn.

Are you now expecting non-assault tanks to do assaults instead of doing what they're strong at? Sure sounds like it.
