Gaijin net updater running in the background

Is there a way that i could turn off gaijin's launcher so it wouldnt start every time i turn on my computer?

Dunno cant find it unless its meant as "hide launcher to tray on download"... I dont see any other option

Ok i found it

in launcher settings there is way down a button that says ::
Continue download when OS starts...

It means it will start automatcly if your download isnt finished. and as the game is made
the launcher downloads something everytime..

So just tick it off...

- Download and install/run https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/what_run_in_startup.html

Check where/what is the Gaijin launcher and disable it.

Beware!
Tool is mighty so don't disable stuff you have no idea what it is doing!

Easier (and maybe safer way) on WIndows 10:
- Start Task Manager
- Go to "Startup" tab
- If you see the Gaijin thingie. Select it. Disable it.

Do NOT follow this Poster..... This adds more trouble for something that can be disabled with a simple tick at the Launcher itself

I reported the comment not his profile lol... Also if you and some other guy said it that its false info and its worth reporting... Maybe i wouldnt go after his instructions but somebody else would

well it wasnt false info..it was just a very hard way to do it for people that doesnt know how to

so i guess not recomended..

It wasn't false info. It was correct info. But there are easier ways to achieve the same result.

Are you guys serious right now? NirSoft is a very reputable developer. What Lunovus said is accurate, this tool will do exactly what the OP wanted and more if wanted. It's a great tool for seeing what starts along with your OS, since task manager doesn't necessarily show all of it.

So by all means, do use the tool and do support NirSoft if you can.

I know that not everyone is technically inclined, but instead of completely disregarding someone's suggestion at least try and do some research beforehand.
