FCM 36 is objectively the worst vehicle in War Thunder. It's so bad that Gaijin removed it from the normal French tech tree.

It's.. not that bad anymore actually. I still have it, it's APCR actually pens stuff now, for the most part. Wasn't too hard to spade.

My worst pick? From vehicles I've unlocked, hmm. My pick is going to be the British Tort. It's slow, it's fat. But at 6.7, you face HEAT, HEATFS, ATGMs, etc., and not to mention some of the best CAS prior to jets.

AMC.34 YR and H.35 both give the FCM.36 a run for its money.
For the record the AMC.34 YR has a worse gun/shell and armor than the FCM.36


I would also put forward the ZiS-43 and the GAZ-MM (72-K). Bad AA. Bad AT. Bad vehicles. Bad protection. And they don't even have the benefit of being 1.0.

that thing's actually pretty good though, two 45MM plus a 76 is very good, you have so much crew you're pretty much impossible to one shot too

Ratel 90, slow, bad gun, gigantic and machine guns shred it... The Ratel 20 has the same issues but at least the atgm's are a good trade off

no, the ratel 90/20 aren't bad, they're light tanks, them being vulnerable to machine guns should be expected, the gun and mobility for the BR and pretty damn alright

Well I actually like the 20, but I can't see a single reason to use the 90 over the Eland

BR, it's honestly not a bad vehicle, it's a bit ankward but if you get a good spot and don't just peak out into open terrain you'll do fine

You use the 90 if you like buses, you use the Eland if you like cars, pretty simple.

The L3 is sneaky and kinda fun but struggles even when fighting stuff like the flak panzer or SDKFZ.221 it always took them 2 shots to kill my exposed crew members, well, I should say it would have taken them 2 shots but they never got the chance.

The FCM 36 is the only low tier tank I won't drive because of how pointless it is.

The PT is a bit odd though, the soviet one was okay but I quickly switched it out for the PT76-57, the chinese one has been pretty horrible though, granted I was running it stock in my 9.7 lineup but still it wasn't very good, not the worst thing ever but I replaced it in the lineup with the premium duster cat.

And yes as a tank destroyer she's awful but as an arty to pound the enemy SPAA's in spawn its exceptional and puts all other rocket tanks to shame (despite the fact that we have higher yield rockets on tanks that should be better at killing SPAA's)

For me personally it would be one of the above or the Japanese Type 74's which while in the hands of a player who has made it through 9.0 multiple times they are just barely serviceable as MBT's (I honestly have had a better time with the Chi Nu at 9.0 though) but for newer players especially ones who purchased the pack version, they are the laughing stock of high tier matches, I rarely ever see them even get assists and I can count the number of times I've seen them with 1 single kill on 1 finger... needless to say gaijin thinks they are OP and keep nerfing them into the ground, the only thing the snail hates as much as France is the Type 74 which for its BR I think is one of the worst tanks in the game.
