You are flying a bit plane, it is afterall a turn fighter, if your engine fails toss flaps, hit the brakes, and watch him fly by (force an overshoot).

If you try and turn fast using said mode you MAY turn in a way that the Computer see as more direct, but which will cause the carb to fail.
Before executing hard turns make sure your underside of the plane is facing outwards on the turn, and the cockpit is on the inside of the turn.
Doing this will produce a high-g turn and keep fuel flowing.
You will need to use keyboard movment to invert your plane prior to the turns, becuase if you leave it to Mouse Aim it will simply pull into the turn cockpit out and there goes your fuel.
I do that all the time, maybe not enough rolling before I turn in.
