T -34's are overpowered

So I am an american tanker. I usually play realistic battles more often than arcade or sim battles. I also prefer the late tier 2 to early tier 3 shermans to any other tier 3 tanks.
Almost every game while I am either flanking or going in guns blazzing, a random T - 34 appears and one shots me out of knowhere, but when I use either m72 or m61 shells I'd be lucky to even
kill a T - 34 before it kills me. I am aware of the fact that early shermans and other tier 2-3 tanks do not have the best armor nor the best penetration but I think the T - 34's are overpowered.

They are not OP you just fail to understand your gun. The best spot to shoot a T-34 is the turret if you shoot the hull there is a higher chance of a fail to pen. There is a spot on the T-34 to pen the hull but more or less you kill only the Machine gunner. The drive's hatch on the T-34 is also the most armored with 75mm of armor there. Now with you dying on the first shot the T-34s ammo is also is filled more with he so when it hits it hits hard killing your tank almost in one shot. The Shermans are not the best in terms of fire power as you can see with the different types with different cannons and more armor. Same goes with the T-34 but you do have one thing the T-34 does not until later tiers you have more crew which gives you more of a chance to live if the shot that pens you not hit the ammo rack.

It's a rather obvious fact that the T34 is by far an easier series of tanks to drive than the Shermans. They have better effective armor, better rounds, a very low profile, and comparable traverse speed. The only thing the Sherman has is the ability to go hull down and the most effective way of using the tank is to sit and wait while hull down; this is something that isn't natural in war thunder.

thats a panther II(br 6.7) with an 88mm gun ;) vs a T-34 1941(br 3.7) hull at almost point blank range.

yea some russian tanks are weird that way, like with the 17 punder on the firefly, I can pen a tiger on the front, but I seem to have problems doing the same on t-34's and KV moddels

so a while ago i hit this t34 10 times, all were penetrating shots, with my panzer iv f2, failing to blow it up. it was able to blow me up with the second hit. i also put one through the machine gun port and from behind lmao. i stopped playing ground forces afterwards. nowadays i play planes in rank 3-4 only as german and i am much happier. everytime a t34 hits me i get one shotted.

note: i think my last shot was glitched somehow its physically impossible for the round to go that way when the cannon is aimed that way lol

commen rookie mistake, dont aim at the hull,hit the turret.
