Error 82220002: Connection to server is lost. You will be returned to menu.
This error may be caused by the following reasons:
1. Internet connection is lost. Check internet connection.
2. Problems on an internet provider side: required UDP ports may be blocked.
3. Game sever is under maintenance.
4. Antivirus or firewall blocks the game.

or try this from the War Thunder website... all most sounds like a Firewall or AntiVirus software issue blocking your connection... not sure why it should stop you from joining a game since you have played the game before.
Read the 2nd post from the bottom of the page posted by " rellik " who is the Technical Moderator in the forum.
