ASU-85 and the T-44-100 are they worth it?
So I've basically already gotten the t44-100 but never hired a crew for it because the training cost practically made me ♥♥♥♥ my pants. I don't have the ASU-85 but seeing that its the only thing that can seem to penetrate smth that is at the t-44-100 tier I decided to start grinding for that. I soon came to see that the ASU-85 doesn't really have a good reputation because of the horrible penetration it provides at 6.7, but obviously times have changed and its 6.3 now. Is it worth my time?

The ASU-85 is kind of tricky. Its armor is trash and so is the mobility. The gun is alright, but the reload time seems so long for an 85mm. The stock grind was very painful for me on this tank, but I really started to enjoy it more once I had upgraded it. All that being said, you do need to unlock it if you want to play the BMP line later on, so I would still say you should get it sooner than later (BMPs are super fun). Also, the SU-100P which comes right after it is really great and I would highly recommend it. As for the T-44-100, I can safely say its worth it. I mean, you probably already know what it will be like if you've played the T-44, but the gun upgrade is so welcome when you've been stuck using that old 85mm for so long. Hope this was helpful : )

The T-44-100 is excellent at 7.0. It's got a hard hitting APHE slinging gun and pretty decent mobility. It's basically the first T-54 but with worse armor (at a tier where armor starts to not matter so who cares?). I slapped a talisman on it back in the day, it was a great grinder.

soviet 100mm guns are very very good. But are questionable at 7.0 in an uptier facing things like the maus and American heavy tanks.

T-44-100 is actually good, I can penetrate almost everything frontally with it.
ASU-85 is only good if you play 6.3 max, it's only good things are its gun, range finder and low profile-ish??
ASU-85 and SU-100P are really underwhelming tanks imo, get BMP-1 as fast as you can

I have killed ASU-85 and SU-100p with planes so many times I was nervous before grinding for it thanks.

They didn't seem to be able to pen those t-54 but to be fair their turret armor is insane
