Most importantly though, have fun. You won't get much out of the game if you feel like you're doing to a chore more than playing a video game.
Do the assualt thingie for ground and air once a day for them boosters.
Make sure to research +/- 1 rank.
Try to be active during your matches.
I prefer to have fun instead of grind, but to each his own.
remember theres always a counter tank to yours at ANY given BR level....tiger 2 aint that great.
we all did.
when I got mine years ago, t10 was br 7.7, I didn't like playing kt2h i was food for t10s.
then I wanted a t10......well, you get it, I have never been top dog and it became food for something when I finally got it.
have fun.
grinding tips.....play what you like and enjoy, doesn't feel like grinding.
You should probably already know all that. The only un-obvious advice I can give after 3000+ hours of playing is that you don't want to focus on "grinding faster". Many go down that road and end up forgetting why they play the game. It can be very difficult to recover from that.
If you are researching vehicles with more than 1 rank difference of what you are using, there are maluses on the vehicle RP you'll get.
See:
https://wiki.warthunder.com/Research_Points#Multipliers
Premium vehicles are a bit different, they don't have those maluses for research of vehicles BELOW their own rank.
Yeah. Tiger 2 H is nice. I've been playing as the same tanks for months and loving it. It's nice to settle on tanks you like. I only really started enjoying War Thunder properly when I stopped worrying about grinding. I have all these 10.3 USA tanks researched but I haven't even driven them. I like USA 7.0 etc.
