Leopard is the worst tank in the game
It does nothing better than an existing tank and I've never had such a piss poor performance with any other vehicle in the game. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage. Stock shell is the worst in the entire game and the Panther II outclasses it in every way.

Personally, the only thing I don't like about it is the armor. My T-54's may not have a whole lot either, but at least they can take a few hits. As for the rounds, APDS usually works great if you can penetrate (which becomes easy once you know where to shoot). HESH does not have much use in my view (but maybe it works for others) and HEATFS I find is often not worth the cost per shell. Going from Tier IV Germany just does not prepare you for the Leopard at all. Requires a whole new playstyle, simillar to American light tanks in my view.

/\ Thats why I don't bother with HEATFS. (That was an M103 HEATFS and this has hapened to me A LOT.)

So, you're telling me the Leopard would be beaten by the Neubaufahrzeug and T-35?

Obviously i'm referring to tanks BR by BR. At it's own BR, the leopard is outclassed by everything. I can have excellent games in every tank at its own BR except for the leopard. It rarely happens.

Hard to say. I've been killed by many flanking and/or sniping Leopards. Fighting lower BR tanks would be a bit overkill simply due to its ammo (I've penetrated the front of a Jagdtiger at range both on the hull and uper fighting compartment with APDS). As it is, the Leopard is usualy the best choice so long as you are carefull. The Maus CAN be good, but most of the time it is penetrate from the front by APDS or HEATFS from long range and its shells sometimes struggle with other tanks.

The Neubaufahrzeug, T-35, and (come to think of it) T-28 are also outclassed by everything they're tiered with.

No they aren't. I have had great games in every vehicle except for leopard and kikka.

Something tells me you haven't actually used any of them.

T-28 and T-35 only have access to HE and HEF, and, along with the Neubaufahrzeug (and it's pathetic armor) have absolutely no muzzle velocity whatsoever.

They're all, at best, support tanks to shoot at tracks while your teammates to all the damage.

The german 75mm kwk37/stuk37 with heat is one of my favorite weapons in the game. I have excellent games in everything that uses any version of it. Just because you can't cope with the muzzle velocity of a short barrel doesn't mean the tank is bad.

It gets one-shotted by everything and anything, and the cannons are still only mediocre.

Really the only plus is that the armor design is so terrible that you don't need to worry about where the enemy attacks you from, because your armor is equally thin everywhere.

The gun is great and that's all I need in it. I'm not expecting the hull to perform miracles. What I am expecting is my leopard to reach its top speed, or the gun to be remotely accurate. I can use the nbfz as much as a stug A. The downsides i'd expect from it are there. The downsides i'd expect from a leopard are there among others that should NOT be there.

Speaking of actually reaching its top speed, something HAS to be wrong with the M24

It's a korean-era tank, but performs like a sherman with less armor, only just as slow.

I agree. I've found myself going back to the locust more often than the chaffee.

I have no problem with it, even with APDS.
