Spain is diferent ??

Hello dear devs, I wanted to ask you if you will ever include Spain among the playable countries, if only because it is a country with a long military tradition (much longer than some of those already included) and that has also been a member of NATO for many years. Greetings.

The size of the military/prominence within NATO is pretty much irrelevant when it comes to a nation being implemented into this game if said military has little or no unique vehicles to offer. Spain has a tiny handful of really haggard Rank 1 quality domestic vehicles/mods, a bunch of foreign vehicles and then the an IFV on the other end. As far as innovation/unique designs go, Spain is basically rock bottom with a plethora of other minor nations.

Spain might have had a small tree of their own, I believe, as small as Israel one, but as long as it was combined with South American countries as a sort of 'Hispanic league'. In that case, such nation would have had more unique designs than the mentioned Israel (although starting from rank I, with T-26, BT-5, BA-2 and BA-3, Pz.I Breda (could be the first actual Pz.I in the game, modified with the installation of Italian 20mm Breda autocannon instead of 7.92mm machine guns), ААС-1937 with Puteaux SA 18, Tiznaos etc., later there are Verdejas, Nahuel, Pulqúis and other Kurt Tank's post-WWII aircrafts, maybe M-51 of the Chilean armed forces, cos why not), however, it still would have needed some copy-paste vehicles to fill certain gaps...if only TAMs hadn't been already added to Germany, that kinda ruins the hypothetical concept, as we really don't want more clones at higher tiers.

I mean it would be the shortest tree in the game to get the F-18 which I would be all in for but still... Not enough to justify an entire tree :P

warthunder has a number of skins of tanks and planes used in the spanish civil war, including 2 russian planes ( I-16 type 5 with 1 skin for each side, I-16 type 10 with one skin for each side), 1 russian bomber ( SB 2M-100, for the republican air force) , a few german biplanes and planes, part of the condor group, Italian planes that partook in the battles ( the SM 79 series 1 has a francoist skin, their stock biplanes have been used in spain too) , in terms of tanks i believe the bt-2s have a skin and the t-26 has a republican skin too but that's about it.

I hope it never gets added, the game already suffers enough with tanks from every nation being present on almost every trees. Takes a lot of the "uniqueness" out of the game when multiple trees have Leopards and t-72's/90's. There's no sense of "NATO vs Russia/china" So adding Spain, outside of a sub tree, would just be Germany 2.0 with Leopards and French vehicles.

Well, I think they should be included, if Romanian tanks or planes have been included, I think it would be fair to include some Spanish ones... and it's not out of patriotism, it's out of justice and history.

Romanian? There's two premium planes.
So... if one expects 'justice' for Spain, one premium IFV seems perfectly fair.

I am satisfied that they included a Tiger Helicopter because it was manufactured by German-French-Spanish companies ( Eurocopter ), for example.

spain would be another isreal...very little at low tiers and then the same vehicle in 4 iterations so you have something that resembles a lineup...and that same vehicle in 4 upgraded variants for the next br bracket

i agree however they, like many countries, probably deserve a line in another nations tree.

The only vehicle that is Israeli is the Merkava, the rest are from other countries such as France, UK, USA, etc. and they, like Spain, redesign and add updates. It is true that thanks to the help of the USA they have a superior military power, but we are not going to enter into a debate on the Geo-political aspects that promote this.
