Why is Italy the least played nation?

There's countries such as China and Sweden who gets played more than Italy for indiscernible reasons. Is it because the recent social credit memes? Ikea? PewDiePie? Subpar Italian tanks in WW2?

TBH I've been seeing lots of Italian M13/M14/M15 series tanks lately.

I do rarely play them myself though.

I don't understand sweden having a higher population, I hardly see more than 1 every 20 odd matches and even then they die twice in the first 3 minutes so its a blink and you miss it thing, but China I get, for a new player china has one of the best roster mixes if you want to try out tons of play styles, they have american and russian tanks, they have decent faction specific modifications of those tanks and their air is pretty varied too, they also have one of the fastest grinds to rank 3 which is nice. As for Italy, you can;t have more than 1 r3 online at any one time, more than that would be too much power for the servers to handle.

I played china last but if I was new, I would probably have done them second so I could get a better grasp of russia and america before tackling those trees.

Sweden has a lot of interesting unique vehicles where as Italy has...... Cars and lend lease vehicles? There's nothing that really stands out too much in Italy that makes me want to play it personally except a few of the vehicles. Like FizzyElf said about China, it's a very beginner friendly nation.

Sweden does have some unique stuff, I guess that would explain people prefering it to yet another line of shermans, Italian style.

Probably because in WW2, Italy's tanks were crap.
I play Italy on a regular basis though. Probably because I'm of Italian background.

Dunno, but China and Sweden have/will have bigger trees than Italy, so potentially more vehicles that people want to play. Italy is full of wheelies and there's a lot of people that don't like those. Doesn't help that the end of the tree isn't in a good position right now (Arietes lost their unique trait: high pen).

I don't know if it is the least played nation. I don't see much of Sweden or China either. Likewise France.

R3 T20, because it is the best "world war 2" tank.

Wasn't the Romanian tank the T3? I don't remember it being called the R3 unless I am thinking of the wrong vehicle, the Turan 3 medium tank right? with the L55 cannon.
