Why is 8.0 china just so unplayable

There is nothing redeeming about their tanks past their SPAA being rather good, Weak armor, With slow reloads and being slow. Let alone god for bid you get into up tiers then your basically worthless.

Huh? The Type-59 with it's half stabilizer is great and it has sturdy armor, the Type-69 has a full stabilizer, the same armor, a better gun (pen stat looks low, but it works trust me) AND a full on lazer range finder at 8.0.



It's downright OP, but I love it. I really Enjoy China at 8.0

I don't know, My darts keep bouncing off lower plates of soviet T-55s and barely pen M60s when I face them, The type 59 was alright to play but it felt rather weak vs other tanks at the same B.R such as the leopard one with it's better gun and speed.

I never seen my tank bounce any shells at this B.R and they 99% of the time die in one or two shots.

The only thing I have enjoyed was the WZ305.

Don't even bother using the apfsds when HEAT runs 8.0

It is so unplayable to convince you to spend money and skip the grind there. Premium makes wonders, but you can also buy premium vehicles that almost always are ahead of the curve, or just pay for research. It is about making money. They know it is horrible.

Yeah the heat is great, Still doesn't really make the tank feel all that great vs alot of what it faces tbh.

I already prem account and in terms of it, While yes prem tanks do work they're not the most effective way to grind past annoying parts, As you get more RP via just grinding normally, Most people will die in their prem tank then leave getting like 2k

Update:

I had a match where my heat shell bounced off AMX's and T-55AM's, I also had my APDS bounce off a LEOPARD 1 TURRET.

This is the only time I've had this many issues in just one game, 8.0 china is a level of just annoyance I don't get.

Because 8.0 gets awful matchmaking. The Chinese 8.0 lineup is one of the better ones, but the power spike between 8.0 and 8.7 is immense and you will play against it 90% of the time.

Just shoot right next to the gun breech (or to the left). It'll Pen and kill their Gunner and probably the breach itself. That's my go to when facing other T-54s.

Also M60s are just tough. They have good armor for any opponent. Get that Type-69 and thank me later, sounds like you didn't go for that tank. It's great.

I'm just wondering what was redeeming about their tanks up until that point?

they get the most advanced version of other nations vehicles like .3-.6 BR after they're obsolete and kinda just bad and the whole thing is a constant struggle... china is never "ahead".

I usually avoid heat, it's not bad but the APFSDS and the other sub-caliber AP shell is surprisingly lethal. So I tend to use those.

That the thing, I have tried that, They tend to bounce which is why I go for the hull of soviet tanks, Mostly the lower plate, Probably due to at 9.0+ that tends to be the best weak point.

I have the type 69 and it does work rather well on M60s but still has issues killing T-55s, T-54s are not the issue... weirdly.

The redeeming factor they had was a mixture of many good tanks such as the better shermans alongside the T-34s.
